Debbie was confused about CBU. For a while she thought it was a school then a store and finally figured out it was a city just spelled Sibiu.
On the way to Sibiu, there was an interesting experience when the group made a bathroom stop. Debbie checked all the stalls but came to the sad conclusion that the bathroom only had holes in the ground. Dan calls them Turkish bathrooms. Debbie has taken Turkey off her travel list.
The three continued on to the city to walk the square where some festival was in progress. Larry had a lot of trouble walking past the stalls. He wanted corn no, wait plum juice, not wait chocolate. Debbie had to remind him that Don’s family was having a barbecue that night.
They visited the Astrid museum which is an open air museum where houses from around Romania have been assembled. They walked the old city and climbed a tower.
That night Dan’s family had a barbecue where everyone tasted plum wine and ate until they were full. (Debbie told on Larry and Dan for eating in the city.) Debbie saved room for all the good food and had a great time.
