The day began with our droopy little travelers in Frankfurt sitting at the Budapest gate trying not to doze off and fall on the floor. They had been directed to the gate by two different LH employees. Luckily, they discovered that they were at the Bucharest gate in time to stroll with dignity to the correct gate instead of having to run screaming down the hall to the correct gate.
Dan, the guide, was able to find Larry and Debbie at the airport and took charge of them which was probably a good thing as they were sleep deprived.
What do Otto von Habsburg, Richard Nixon, Yehudi Menuhin, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Vilmos Zsigmond and Maximillian Shell have in common? They all have a suite named after them in the Danubius Hotel Gellért, and now there is the Larry and Debbie Eng Suite. This September marked the centennial of Hotel Gellert.
Upon arrival, Debbie took a nap while Larry and Dan explored the city. Debbie felt pretty wimpy about the nap until at dinner she noticed that Dan was yawning and Larry kept dozing off during the meal. (He is lucky that he didn’t go face first in this goulash because Debbie would have included in the blog. Remember Eng Suite Hotel Gellert.
That looks like a nice hotel. Is Les Cheap Girls Debbie not being so cheap?
My brother has forced me to step up.
That’s a strange plate bowl for soup? Your suite looks very nice
