It began as a nice overcast day with a chance of showers. The four met for breakfast with a day of shopping and sightseeing planned. Maybe the Jewish center, the funicular or walking by the water? Everyone was having the big breakfast except Debbie who opted for the healthy option. (Something she regretted once she saw the other meals.
As they ate breakfast, it began to lightly mist, then gradually a little heavier. Just as they paid and stood up, the skies opened and poured down, run for your life as the water rolled after the group down the street. The group took cover in the Jewish museum. They finally decided to just make a run for the house when the sales lady mentioned that she sold raincoats. Viola! Delta Force was formed.
The Delta Force team chose Charlie as team lead with the red coat. (Seriously, doesn’t this look like an awesome team). They suited up and slogged through water for the next 20 minutes. (Debbie hasn’t worn her shoes for the next 5 days. Charlie, Larry and Debbie retreated to their rooms for the rest of the day until that night for dinner.
Don hiked up to the top of the funicular later that afternoon. (Debbie said that she would have gone if she knew. Larry said that he felt there might be some stretching of the truth.
This is the street of the Jewish museum.
You are better tourists than I am. Rain = cozy day in the room. It did look like that rain was rolling down the steps and preparing to wash you away. Loving the raincoats. Will you bring those back to Houston so that you can play tourist during hurricanes?
Maybe, I am still dragging the raincoat around with me. We paid good money for it.
There seem to be a number of butt shots of the team leader.
Well, we can only report what actually happened.
Dan filming the rain pouring down the stairs “this is a nice experience!” Hahah
You guys need those cute clear umbrellas that are like upside down cups.
Dan did a nice job filming and the blog has video!!
