Oregon Wildfires

Covid-19 has shut down the travel blog for awhile since we can’t go anywhere. 

However, it is a good place to report on Lindsey and Aaron’s status.  They live in Springfield Oregon, a suburb of Eugene. One of the wildfires called the Holiday Farm Fire and is outside Eugene / Springfield.  It is 0% contained at this moment but the fire fighters are hopeful that with additional resources and the change in the wind that they may be able to begin to contain.

The Oregon evacuation levels are:

1 = Get Ready

Lindsey and Aaron’s house has not been declared in any of the evacuation levels.  They are packed and have a plan.  They live in Lane County. They are still going to work.  Their area is very smoky. The fire is about 10 miles from Springfield.
